From the Bettmeralp cable car mountain station, first walk through the village eastwards to the winter hiking trail leading up to Bettmersee. After a short ascent, you can put on your cross-country skis directly at Bettmersee. The trail initially runs along the frozen and snow-covered Bettmersee. While you do your laps on the approximately 2 km long trail, you can enjoy the magnificent view over the Sun Plateau and the deeply snow-covered four-thousanders of Valais.
