You start at the mountain station Bettmeralp and ride on the paved Aletsch promenade towards Riederalp. At Golmenegg, turn left and follow the route down to Goppisberg. Passing picturesque hamlets, you descend the sunny slope. Upon arriving at Goppisberg, follow the fairly flat path eastward at first. You pass the Baderwald, then ride down to Martisberg and further on to Lax. From there, the route leads you above the main road to the public transport hub at Fiesch. Here you take the cable car up to Fiescheralp. The last stage of the bike route leads back to Bettmeralp on the Herrenweg via Bettmersee.

Skip the cable car and tackle the ascent from Lax to Fiescheralp by bike. Then this route becomes really challenging.
Via cantonal road 19 to the exit Bettmeralp valley station. Take the aerial cableway Bettmeralp (Aletsch Bahnen AG) up to Bettmeralp.
