Hike from the mountain station of the Bettmeralp cable car up to Bettmersee. Then follow the path along the west shore of the lake and further uphill to Blausee. From there, the route leads up to Biel and Hohbalm, where you switch to the other side of the mountain ridge. On the following section to "Roti Chumma," the view of the Great Aletsch Glacier is your constant companion. You can also see the Valais black-nosed sheep here: they graze on the barren alpine meadows in summer. Upon arriving at "Roti Chumma," the impressive glacier is then within reach. However, you continue hiking towards Märjela and Märjelensee. Past the glacier hut, the route then leads again towards the sun plateau. After passing through the illuminated Tälli ridge tunnel (Upper Tälli), you hike to the Fiescheralp. From here, you can take the cable car down to Fiesch or continue along the Herrenweg back to Bettmeralp, the starting point of the route.
