From Fiescheralp, take the cable car up to Eggishorn, the starting point of the hike. Take your time at the viewpoint to enjoy the overwhelming view of the Valais mountain world, the Great Aletsch Glacier, as well as Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau before starting your hike. Then follow the path westward to Elselicka. Here you have a beautiful view of the Valais southern Alps. The next stage is the descent towards the mountain station of the Flesch chairlift. From there, hike past the reservoir lake back to Fiescheralp. Take the cable car down to Fiesch. Attention: The descent from Eggishorn to the mountain station of the Flesch chairlift leads through alpine terrain. Watch out for loose stones!

From Eggishorn, it goes about 1 km along the ridge to Elselicka. Afterwards, continue further down about 500 vertical meters on hiking trails to the destination at Fiescheralp.

Follow Cantonal Road 19 to the Fiesch exit, then Furkastrasse to the valley station of the Fiesch-Eggishorn aerial cableway (Aletsch Bahnen AG). Take the cable car up to Eggishorn.

By train from Brig or Oberwald to Fiesch, then on foot to the valley station of the Fiesch-Eggishorn aerial cableway (Aletsch Bahnen AG). Take this up to Eggishorn.
