From Fiesch you take the cable car up to the Fiescheralp. That is the starting point of the hike, which leads you down from the sunny plateau into the valley. Hike westwards from Fiescheralp to the Laxerstafel junction and follow the path. Upon arriving at Laxerstafel, you will find a small lake and a view of the breathtaking mountain panorama. From here, a path laid out in switchbacks continues downhill. This makes the descent to Lax comfortable. The approximately 1,000 meters of elevation you overcome on this stage are thus manageable. Upon reaching Lax, take the train back to Fiesch.

Follow the Cantonal Road 19 to the Fiesch exit, then Furkastrasse to the valley station of the Fiesch-Eggishorn cable car (Aletsch Bahnen AG). Take the cable car up to the Fiescheralp.
