Autumn in the Aletsch Forest

Autumn in the Aletsch Forest is a particularly beautiful time of year. Enjoy an Indian summer in Switzerland on an autumn hike in the Aletsch Arena. Spot the many wild animal trails between the gnarled pine trees. Traces of glacial history can be found in the rocks and moraines, while mosses and tree seedlings thrive on deadwood. Whilst exploring the Aletsch Forest, you’ll learn more about flora and fauna at the edge of the glacier from staff at the centre.
