The start is right at the Fiescheralp mountain station. First, you roll over open meadows and dwarf shrubs, picking up speed on a long straight. But caution: full concentration is a must. If you’re already at your limit here, it’s wiser to return via the forest road or take the cable car back down.
After a short transfer on the forest road, the trail dives into the mountain forest. At first flowy, with playful features and alpine pastures, it soon reveals its true face: a steep, root-laced slope demanding maximum technique. Further down, the terrain becomes even rockier and rougher, running directly beneath the Fiescheralp cable car. Steep sections, tight switchbacks, boulders, and root carpets alternate – a pure enduro challenge. The trail briefly crosses the forest road several times before continuing over exposed forest slopes and demanding technical turns toward the valley. The final section brings a surprise: after all the intensity, a playful and flowy stretch awaits, the perfect “sweet finish” that leads you directly to the valley station.
