The starting point of the hike is the Fieschertal playground. From here, you hike a short, steep section uphill until you reach the Laggeraweg trail. On the flat trail along the slope, you then hike to Lax. The change between deciduous and coniferous forests and rocky terrain, sunny and shady sections makes the Laggeraweg so varied. Along the route, you can repeatedly enjoy wonderful views of the villages Fiesch and Ernen. Especially beautiful: The disused Suone, which runs partly directly next to the trail. In bygone days, the Valais people used the Suonen as irrigation canals and for drinking water supply.
