From the mountain station of the Bettmeralp cable car, walk east through the village of Bettmeralp. At Hotel Alpfrieden, follow the upper path and after about 15 minutes on foot, you will reach Sportzentrum Bachtla. You have the option to ride directly up to the start of the kidstrack. For this, follow the paved road to Bettmersee. Ride along the lake for a bit, then turn left onto the path that leads directly to the start of the kidstrack. The approximately 400 m long kidstrack runs right next to it. The winding natural trail is ideal for improving biking skills in the terrain. Afterwards, kids and teenagers can have fun in the pump park.

BFU Notes:
A pumptrack is a circuit (track) built especially for bikes on flat terrain and features waves, banked turns, or jumps. By dynamically loading and unloading (pumping), the bike accelerates without the riders having to pedal. Only forces are exerted on the riders that they can generate themselves. Therefore, pumptracks are suitable for beginners and advanced riders. Riding a pumptrack promotes coordination, balance, strength, is fun, and is also suitable for children. So far, no accident statistics are known.
- Introduce children carefully to the use of the pumptrack.
- Set the saddle to the lowest possible position and stand on the pedals.
- Do not enter the pumptrack at speed from outside the circuit, as this generates excessive forces. Build your speed only within the pumptrack itself.
- Keep an eye on other riders and be considerate of them.
We recommend:

- Protections recommended
- Special pump park bikes and helmets can be rented at Sportzentrum Bachtla
Bikes and helmets can be rented for a fee at Sportzentrum Bachtla. However, their use is only permitted on the kidstrack and in the pump park.
